Start at the car park by the Roman bridge at the edge of Chevré lake.
(S/F) Head north and cross the D528, make a right/left and take the path.
Follow the yellow line. Cross through Tarouanne and continue on a trail ahead that joins a broader path.
(1) Turn right, reach a crossroads on the road and continue opposite. Pass Le Paveillais and, 200 m further on, take the path to the right facing a pond until you reach the asphalt road.
(2) Turn left (an unmarked path), after the junction take the path ahead in the forest. Continue for 200 m and then take the mountain biking path to the right. Re-join the road, continue ahead, pass by Malecotais and follow the road for 500 m.
(3) Take the path to the right, remember to look for the ruins of an ancient village.
(4) At the D528 turn right and go as far as the crossroads.
(5) Turn left and go as far as the bridge.
(6) Follow the Veuvre to the right (take care as it may be flooded in winter) and then along the lake to the Roman bridge (S/E).
