(S) From the car park shop, take the path that leads to the south-west overlooking the Restonica.
After 1 km you will arrive at the old Mélo barn (1). Continue onwards to a fork (2). Continue south without crossing the river. Making loops between stone slabs (the route is equipped with chains) and pass the rock bolt by means of metal stairs. Reach Mélo lake.
(3) Stay to the right and, from the lake, head west to climb the rocky promontory. Then turn south-west, make a few more loops among the rocks and reach Capitello lake.
Return by the same route to Mélo lake (3). You can go down the same route as the outbound path (stairs, slabs) there is an alternative here. Cross the river that flows from the lake to a little rocky path further east down along the base of the cliff. Head down making loops between the small rocks. Cross the river again to reach the fork (2). Turn left taking the outbound path to reach the starting point.

Useful Information
Starting at Corte take the D623 Restonica valley to the (paid) car park 15 km further on.
Arrive at the car park before 9 am, as it risks being busy and the weather changes quickly in this area. Note that the access road is long and difficult to access by car.
The descent route from Mélo lake (avoiding the slabs and stairs) can be taken on the way up. Warning: This stretch can be difficult for people not used to rocky routes.
