The starting point is located in Siran, on the belvedere of the Cascade d'Autoire.
With your back to the viewing point, take the small road on the left between the houses. Just after the pretty renovated house, go to see the fountain 10m to the left (a basin with a pump and cave at the bottom of the stairs). Return to the road and follow it for 300m, turn right and then after 50m turn left for 100m. At the crossroads , take the road that descends to the left.
From there you follow yellow route markers.
Follow the road for 600m. It descends before climbing back up. (1) Take the path going to the right (yellow route markers) and which passes below a large renovated building. After 300m, at the cross (1), cross the D673 and take the path opposite.
After 600m you arrive at the D807 which is busy road. Cross it here (2) at the top of the hill, being very careful. Descend to the right and go along the road below for 100m and continue on the path to the left, following the yellow markers. Go around the guest houses. After 100m, take the wide path to the right and follow it for 800m. It passes through a wood and then descends towards houses.
Cross the small road (3) and follow the wide path opposite for 100m. Follow the path on the right. At the end of 300m it turns to the left through pasture. Continue for another 100m. It leads to the educational path of the Marais de Bonnefont (4).
Take the path that circumnavigates a small grassy hill to the right. Follow the educational path around the hill for 400m. Continue through the marsh along the wooded trail and make the most of the information and observation points throughout the marsh.
Turn right and walk along the small stream to your left.
After you have joined a second stream to your right , cross it a little further on using the makeshift bridge built for this purpose. Turn left and follow this second stream with it on your left (yellow route markers).
After 300m, continue along the landscaped path which borders a meadow and take a hairpin turn to reach the small bridge below the road(5).
When you reach this point, cross the road (be careful, it is very busy) and take the small road that parts towards the hamlet of Bonnefont (yellow markers).
After 300m you'll see the very beautiful fountain and washhouses of Bonnefont.
Follow the same road which climbs and ends after about 400m. Take the trail that's a continuation of the road and climb for 700m. When you get to the intersection (6), take the road to the right (yellow markers). 120m further on, ignore the road to the right and the yellow markers. After 100m (7), turn left on the wide path that passes a small civil engineering business and follow it for 500m. Take the small road on the left and continue for 300m. Intersection with the D673 (8). Pass the hamlet of Sarrouil opposite and take the D673 on the right. After 300m (9), take the path on the left and follow it for 1200m. When you get to the road, continue straight ahead in the direction of the Cascade d'Autoire viewing point. You then retrace your steps along the outward leg. You'll arrive after 400m.
