Description

To start, the easiest way is to head to the large car park at the landing beach (note that in summer spaces are likely to be few and far between). Then head for the beach, turn left onto the shingle (1) (yellow markings) as far as the small harbour of Poussaï. Cross to the other side of the harbour and head towards a small staircase that provides access to a good path, continue up for about 200 metres and turn right (2) onto the partially paved path up a gentle incline. The view sometimes opens onto the sea or provides a view of Dramont’s summit and semaphore tower. Shortly after the path levels out. Turn left uphill (3) passing the path to the right leading down to the sea. After a short climb, turn left at a junction (4) on a path up towards the entrance of the semaphore tower (no access), with a beautiful view and a sign that informs visitors about the purpose of the semaphore. The roads heads down to the right. After a few metres, turn right onto the road that rises slightly to the transmitter where there is another wonderful view going around the transmitter. Head downhill on the road (no traffic) and a little further down head left (5) ignoring the markings and continue the descent to reach the path of ascent, the harbour and the car park on the same route.
